About me

My name is Christine Michelle Juarez Bernier and I am a mother, a daughter, a spouse, a volunteer, and a lifelong citizen of La Habra. Along with my husband of almost twenty-five years, we have raised our three children with community involvement in mind. Our kids have been equally as active with us in serving our community with our oldest son now serving in the military choosing to follow in our family elders’ footsteps. I have dedicated a great part of my life to serving the residents of La Habra because I saw a need to improve life for my neighbors, our children, and the community as a whole. This is why I am running for La Habra City Council.  Elect C. Michelle Juarez Bernier for City Council and have a voice again.

I have been strong in reaching out to our surrounding cities over the years.  For support on projects as well as building friendships to help our community.

Involved since the beginning with Love Our Cities.  I have been involved in many Love La Habra Projects as both boots on the ground, as well as behind the scenes. 

Walking La Habra Blvd on Sunday Morning picking up trash.  We need to take care of our community.  So walking the heart of our City is a great place to start.  Join us on Sunday Mornings has we care for our community here in La Habra.

As a planning commissioner of 8 years I have championed the adding of Art in to our new builds.  Art is a very important passion in my life and I want other to see it power and beauty it can bring to our city.
